Bikepacking in South Burgundy

This was a beautiful gravel ride in the south of Burgundy (Bourgogne) in France. The tour followed a bicycle lane passing through beautiful cities such as Cluny. It took us a day and a half to complete this tour of 150 kilometers.

Of course, for a two-day trip, I packed light. I basically had a tent, a mattress, a sleeping bag and a pair of extra cycling clothes along with my hygienic products. I also had my camera, headphones, and a Garmin. And lastly, to be able to transport my bike in the train, a train bag. There is a direct train from Paris Gare De Lyon to Macon, where we started the trip. The train bag comes in very handy when you want to take a TGV train where unmounted bikes are not allowed.
